Raised by wolves is an interesting story of cultural conditioning on a young intelligent impressionable young man by his criminal family! The interesting twist turns and close calls kept me locked in awaiting not always so obvious outcomes. The determination to break this conditioning and the perseverance of cavario is inspiring to say the least. There’s also many life jewels in this book as well!

There’s people that Listen and Learn (Smart).People that Live and Learn (Hard earned Wisdom). And people that Read and Learn (Grace).Carvario is a Author and profound speaker that exhibits an empirical wisdom that derives from the above mention and is still alive to testify to his factual archive of life events that has transfigured into a social mentorship that creates several pathways to freedom. I suggest you read this book PERIOD. Time to Read and Learn.

Raised by Wolves is one of those rare but authentic street / intelligent biographies that is sure to be a classic. It delves in to different layers of what we call the Street life. Some individuals are born into it due to harsh circumstances such as family ties and it becomes a way of life. Raised by Wolves is a must read for those who seek to understand the dynamics of the concrete jungle. Not your redundant gangster narrative . This hit different cause it goes into the psyche of what some would deem a dysfunctional upbringing. Read it for yourself Cavario takes you on a vivid experience of the pre and post Crack Era.

“Raised by Wolves”, is an intriguing and revealing read! This book gives a real-life perspective and different point of view of the gangster world from someone who was truly “about that life”, and the psychology of being born into it. There are a lot of fictitiously fluffed-up gangster stories, but this is not that. It’s an honest and insightful look into the criminal underworld. The degree of detail in the life experiences shared are undoubtedly from someone who lived it in this way, and who is willing to share the unfiltered highs, lows, ins, outs, wins, losses, risks and rewards. Get this book now and take a deep dive into the dynamics of early gangsterism in the U.S., the world of the genetically engineered gangster, and how we got the “Trap”!

I enjoyed reading, “Raised By Wolves” by Cavario H.It held my attention as the author(who was born and raised in New York City) describes in vivid detail his upbringing in a family that sold drugs and killed and how he carried on that legacy from 1980 to May of 1997 when he got tired and wanted to go in a different direction with his life.Being originally from Harlem myself and living in the Bronx for a few years, I attest to some of the places that Cavario H talks about as well as some of the people in his book.It brought back alot of memories to me.His writing style is truthful,to the point, and detailed. When he talks in the vernacular in the streets he makes sure to give definitions to those that are unfamiliar with the terms. The book is gripping.I felt I was actually in the places with the author as well as watching him go through his experiences, describing the savageness of the drug game.He had me talking aloud to the book as I read it as if I was talking to him face to face. There were a few funny situations as well. The one that stood out to me was when he was at Freddy’s apartment to pick up some drugs. When Freddy went to the back to pick up the drugs Cavario was in the front of the apartment leaning against the wall watching Rockwell’s music video, “Someone Is Watching Me” on the TV.I thought it was funny because of where Cavario was at and what he was doing and the music video pops up on the screen. The chapter that really touched me was Chapter 52, “Good Mourning” which dealt with his mother becoming an ancestor. To me,when your father dies it hits you hard to a certain extent. When your mother dies it hits way harder.Overall the book is very good.I thoroughly enjoyed it and it shows that the drug game is not what it is cracked up to be(excuse the pun). The author was able to survive the drug game and step out of it and tell his story so that those in the hood will learn from the mistakes he made cause he is street certified to do this.I loved all Cavario’s personal quotes but the one that stood out to me the most was the one that said, ‘The greatest wealth on Earth is health and self worth…only knowledge of this is truly gangster.’ Cavario H. I respect and appreciate you Brother!!!!!!Salute!!!!!!!

Great book! Funny how many times his life has been remixed into movies and Tv shows we still see everyday from that one movie that shall not be named but I’ll say mr. Washington did a great job acting in to that one tv show on STARZ that has Cavario and Trevor whoops I meant Ghost and Thomas lol… to a few other places that could be notable pointed out. It’s alright long as we know the source and pay homage to a real OG a true hustler who has been shared his mind, his heart and poured his soul into that scripture. I’m late to this party but I will always support you my brother. Thank you for your knowledge and your wisdom and for telling it like it is as it was. You painted a very very vivid picture for everyone you really took us there.
